FIXED PLANT MAINTENANCE PLANNING COORDINATOR

About Our Client

FG Gold Limited has been awarded the Baomahun Gold concession project located in Valunia Chiefdom, Bo District, and is currently in the development phase. To support this project development, FG Gold Limited is seeking a qualified individual to fill the vacant position of Fixed Plant Maintenance Planning Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Establish maintenance planning systems, processes, standards and master data from project inception, ahead of commissioning and first production.

Develop and maintain preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans and schedules based on equipment criticality.

Develop annual shutdown strategies and detailed shutdown/campaign work packs, including scope, resourcing, critical path and cost estimates.

Develop weekly and monthly maintenance schedules, and manage and prioritise the maintenance backlog.

Develop maintenance task lists, job plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and spare parts requirements.

Populate and maintain the CMMS with equipment master data, maintenance plans, job plans and schedules.

Work closely with the Reliability Engineering team to maximise equipment availability, reliability and plant performance.

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCFA) for major equipment failures and significant production losses, and build findings into forward maintenance plans.

Monitor planning KPIs (schedule compliance, backlog levels, PM compliance) and drive continuous improvement.

Ensure maintenance plans, schedules and work packs comply with statutory regulations, engineering standards and FG Gold's Zero Harm philosophy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Professional Engineering Registration preferred.

Minimum 8-10 years' experience in mining or mineral processing maintenance, including significant experience in a maintenance planning/scheduling role.

Proven experience developing preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance plans, ideally on a Greenfield gold or mineral processing project.

Experience leading RCA/RCFA investigations and working closely with Reliability Engineering teams.

Strong working knowledge of CMMS planning and scheduling modules (e.g. SAP PM, Maximo, Pronto, Ellipse).

Experience in African gold mining projects is advantageous.
